How to get there
Step into the colorful, imaginative world of Dr. Seuss in this exciting musical theater camp at Susquehanna Stage, designed for performers ages 7–13! Campers will bring beloved characters like Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and the Whos of Whoville to life as they rehearse and perform Seussical Jr., a fast-paced and fun-filled production perfect for young actors of all experience levels.
Camp runs Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, where students spend their days learning songs, choreography, dialogue, and basic stagecraft in a supportive, age-appropriate environment. Through creative play and structured rehearsal, campers will build confidence, collaboration skills, and a love of live theater.
The week concludes with a fully staged performance for family and friends on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM, giving campers the opportunity to shine onstage and celebrate their accomplishments.
No prior theater experience is required—just enthusiasm, imagination, and a willingness to have fun!
